Spatial/Visual Intelligence

Spatial Intelligence is the brain’s ability to perceive and interpret visual stimuli. In other words, it’s how our minds process what we see. Although not very recognized, spatial intelligence is very important in arts and daily life.


  • Learns by seeing & observing. Recognizes faces, objects, shapes, colors, details, and scenes.
  • Thinks in pictures and visualizes detail.
  • Uses visual images as an aid in recalling information.
  • Enjoys doodling, drawing, painting, sculpting, or otherwise reproducing objects in visible form.
